Esta exposici\u00f3n presenta un recorrido comparativo por la arquitectura de vivienda social en el \u00e1mbito iberoamericano. Es el principal resultado de un proyecto impulsado desde el grupo de investigaci\u00f3n NuTAC (UPM) en cuya elaboraci\u00f3n participaron investigadores de otras 5 universidades (Pontificia Universidad Javeriana de Bogot\u00e1, Universidad Cat\u00f3lica de Santiago de Guayaquil, Pontificia Universidad Cat\u00f3lica del Per\u00fa, Universidad de S\u00e3o Paulo y Universidad de Buenos Aires), ampli\u00e1ndose la colaboraci\u00f3n en una segunda fase a la Universidad An\u00e1huac M\u00e9xico y la Universidad Nacional Aut\u00f3noma de M\u00e9xico. El objetivo original del proyecto era construir un foro de intercambio de experiencias e ideas en torno a la arquitectura de vivienda social y sobre el papel que esta puede desempe\u00f1ar en el desarrollo de las ciudades de Iberoam\u00e9rica. La exsposici\u00f3n muestra un recorrido comparativo a trav\u00e9s de doce ejemplos de arquitectura de vivienda social (ampliados a catorce en una segunda etapa) de las siguientes ciudades: Madrid, Bogot\u00e1, Buenos Aires, Lima, Guayaquil, Sao Paulo y M\u00e9xico DF. Todos estos ejemplos fueron seleccionados en base a cuatro ejes tem\u00e1ticos: econom\u00eda, densidad, diversidad y relaci\u00f3n, criterios que guiaron a su vez el an\u00e1lisis cr\u00edtico y comparativo de casos. Los materiales expuestos incluyen paneles con dibujos, fotograf\u00edas textos, informaci\u00f3n relativa a las condiciones espec\u00edficas de cada proyecto (\u00edndices de densidad, normativas urban\u00edsticas, recursos econ\u00f3micos, etc.) y un an\u00e1lisis gr\u00e1fico basado en un mismo sistema de representaci\u00f3n, que se centra en identificar y enfatizar el valor de los espacios de relaci\u00f3n a distintas escalas.<\/span>

This exhibition presented a comparative journey through the architecture of social housing in the Ibero-American environment. It is the main result of a project promoted by the research group, NuTAC (UPM), in which researchers from five other universities participated (Javerian Pontifical University of Bogot\u00e1, Catholic University of Santiago of Guayaquil, Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, University of Sao Paulo and University of Buenos Aires), expanding the collaboration in a second phase to the Anahuac Mexico University and the National Autonomous University of Mexico. The original objective of the project was to build a forum for the exchange of experiences and ideas around social housing architecture and the role it can play in the development of Latin American cities. The exhibition showed a comparative journey through twelve examples of social housing architecture (expanded to fourteen in a second stage) from the following cities: Madrid, Bogot\u00e1, Buenos Aires, Lima, Guayaquil, Sao Paulo and Mexico City. All these examples were selected based on four thematic axes: economy, density, diversity and relationship, criteria that in turn guided the critical and comparative analysis of cases. The exhibited material included panels with drawings, photographs, texts, information regarding the specific conditions of each project (including density rates, urban regulations and economic resources) and a graphical analysis based on the same representation system, which focused on identifying and emphasizing the value of spaces for social exchange at different scales.<\/span>
